mate, when it takes 69min for us to muster a shot on target, we can't drag out stats when they are trying to hang onto a lead.
we were fucking atrocious and cannot take any high ground by saying we were 'better'. in no way were we better. we lost to a division 2 side. not through bad luck or anything else. but because we were shit.
What LDG said. Certainly towards the end and throughout extra time we were by far the better side.

Do people actually watch football anymore?? We were clearly the better team, but that doesn't make up for the standard of our football, or what you would expect from a premiership team, against a bunch of cloggers.

We lost because they wanted it more. Our players were technically better but a cold night up north against a side who are up for it, we're just not bothered enough. That is what is unforgivable.
the game lasted 120 minutes. for 70 of them, they stopped us from getting a shot on target. that is more than half the game. it doesn't tell me we were better. it's embarrassing tbh.
also, just saw this depressing stat of our record so far this season, 10 wins from 25 games:

what makes it worse is hearing liverpool twats piping up this morning.
We got in behind them on the flanks so many times it was untrue.
If we had someone who could cross a ball (not Ramsey or Gervinho), and someone who could put them away (not Gervinho or Chamahk) then we would have won by a cricket score.
The midfield bossed the middle of the park, I thought Gibbs was fine, Sagna was fine, Vermaelen was just Vermaelen (a shadow of what he was last year), and Chesney was not really tested too much throughout.
We controlled most of the match, but like Letters said, we didn't want it enough, and we lacked quality up top and on the wing.
And as everyone, bar Wenger seems to understand. RAMSEY IS SHIT. GERVINHO IS SHIT. CHAMAHK IS SHIT. And that is why we lost.
