Media seem to have run with the £30m unsubstantiated rumour, put 2+2 together and got Cavani.
A player for whom Napoli turned down a £45m bid in the summer, who has a release clause of £50m, and who could go pretty much anywhere he wanted and earn 3 times as much as we could possibly pay?

I honestly believe his transfer pot includes extending player contracts. He's just signed a 20mill pound player in "his world".
The summer will be all about keeping the team together, I.E. keeping hold of Walcott & Wilshere/or Cazorla.

That's what the media doesn't seem to understand when they talk about having a transfer kitty, that budget is for wages as well as transfer fees.
