Hasn't Gourcuff been a little bit shit since he left Bordeaux? I suppose he ticks the boxes if Wenget wants to bring someone in though.

no he isn't because it would not take long for his effectiveness to be neutralised under wenger. new players + same manager = same result.

It's okay, we get linked with him every window. It's a fun tradition.

Not so sure. I think he'd be an effective winger.

taking it all into account? honestly, i wouldn't take him. i don't want wenger spending a single penny more because it will become a waste. we'll lay our hopes into a player like fellaini, then slowly realise that the player we saw at everton will not turn up every week for us - which is down to the manager. it may sound churlish but new signings under our current manager offer change very very little.

Newcastle have had a bid rejected for Yoan Gouffran.

I think Graham Carr is the Crooknapp of Ligue 1.

Little bit ray of hope for bw10?

    mirror.co.uk Yanga-Mbiwa etc

    And do not forget:

Yanga-Mbiwa, 23, is highly rated in France and can play right back, centre back and also operate as a holding midfielder.
And IMO we desperately need to strengthen the defensive right holding centre midback position.

Was Yanga-Mbiwa any good against us? If he didn't rape us then he's a bit shit seeing as we're very shit.
