I hope that's not true, I think Coq is a useful player with a lot of potential. With Arteta out he has a good chance of making an impression.

Me too, I like him, I think he's looked pretty decent in the few games he has played this season.

I dunno...you never know with Arsene, maybe he's thinking that Diaby and Ramsey who is certainly one of his "pet projects" will be kicking on come the latter part of the season. Arsene clearly sees those two as important squad players, well in Diaby's case an important first team player, Arsene's words.

With those two about and the current first choice boys I don't think Coq will get anywhere near the team especially now we have to play catch up.

I'd say a keeper is right up there as a priority. Szez not cutting out the errors and has no competition or back up.
Also his kicking is prob the worst of any keeper in the prem and it doesn't seem to be improving. A real shame...as he has a lot going for him.

Apparently that was down to bad weather.
If we haven't snapped him up by now - a deal looks unlikely to be fair. Newcastle will get another quality player at a good price.
