That's the problem. The money is there. Of that, there is no doubt but Wenger and our beloved board refuse to spend it o the club and would rather keep it for themselves.
Sooner we get the Arabs/Usmanov in the better
so we won't be getting in any big name players, rather guys like this.
Prefer Wenger continues to cheap it out till he leaves, tbh.

Ideally yes but we don't know when he's leaving and he'll probably sign a new contract. Why walk away from £7m a year in a job where he doesn't have to do much?
he'll spend maybe 30-40 mill - on about 20 players and we'll carry on as we are.
i think this forum might die by the time wenger decides to leave.
