Two footed lunge straight over the top of the ball with studs up and a million miles from the ball. Hardly what I'd call reckless. As for intent, he's a lovely lad and certainly not that sort of vicious thug who has no self control or respect. What's really important here and being missed by all the so-called pundits is Eduardo is a dirty diving bastard.

Disgusting challenge and the Newcastle coach was right to lose his shit. The Newcastle players should have kicked lumps out of the little dirty shit.

He did get the ball so he wasn't million miles away.

That doesn't excuse the challenge but it does explain things about you tbh

Why the fuck is there so much drama about this? Is it my imagination, or is there more furore about this than there was about Eduardo's and Ramsey's legs being snapped in half?

It's probably because Taylor and Shawcross were both sent off, while this wasn't even given as a foul.

No he didn't, the ball got him and was totally incidental to the lunge. If that's his version of getting the ball then he must have some sort of affliction.

They don't want to upset Old Man Whelan ahead of his emotional FA Cup return.

The FA are stupid. Knee high challenges all the way from now on.

What's ridiculous is the official admits he didn't see the extent of the tackle, therefore he didn't actually see it!

What an utterly repugnant bunch of ****s that FA body must comprise of.

    Absolute farce.
