For those first few years at Chelsea though, I don't think I'd ever seen a better keeper. He was almost flawless. Then Hunt used the force.

I agree that he came back to something like his best after that incident. Dropped off badly over the past season, though.

I'm led to believe he was very good for Udinese and he did play well at the World Cup and in qualifying for it.
At Barca though (more this season) he has been dreadful. Missed sitter guaranteed every match.
On that account, maybe a change of environment is just what he needs to get back his form.
