We have a manager and club ethos that simply has not moved forward over the last decade.
France used to produce world class players...which coincided with Wenger winning trophies as he bought predominantly out of that market....the rest of the world caught up and overtook the French yet Wengers obsession with that market led us to buying one duff after another....Aliadire, Squilachi, Giroud, Girvhino and im sure many many more.
Who knows how we train, as our defending has progressively got worse until this year when at last Bould was given sporadic chances to improve the defence.
The biggest problem we have over player investment is an arrogant, past it manager who refuses to adapt with the changing face of modern football.
Lets start by replacing him THEN investing in players and hopefully a manager like Klopp which i am sure will bring the glory days back.
