Do you expect Swansea to finish higher than Everton when they've only just started life in the Prem? They're a newly promoted team. Look at Evertons squad. Millions spent on it. Swansea squad, around 20p.

Swansea, mid table in their first season in the PL. decent effort. Qualified for Europe and won a trophy in their 2nd. I'd say that's improvement.
