    Bye.
I liked Arshy, a waste of talent pretty sure that picture was of him in training with a pie tied to Theo sprinting....
Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."

Arshavin was a great player when he arrived, Wenget played him out of position however.

But towards the end, he gave up aswell, and was content to bloating out of shape on his salary.

We could have made better use of his talent. We should have just played him behind the striker. He'd have scored and got plenty of assists. Wenger can be so inflexible with certain players. He'll give a player like Gervinho a shot to play as striker even though he has shown no sign of being clinical when playing for us and he'll play Ramsey as a winger when he has no dribbling skills. I don't understand it.

The fat Russian hasn't really helped the cause but Wenger can sometimes miss a trick. It took him years to play Rosicky in the middle and I've always wanted to see him play with Cesc there but he never once tried it. Now that Rosicky is slowing down and having to watch the mileage clock, he's getting games in the middle. If he's able to acknowledge the fact that Rosicky is getting old and can't keep chasing up and down the flanks in great bursts, how comes he can't see the same with Arshavin? Besides the fitness, (it improved as time passed) he can't bloody defend. Instead of freezing him out we should have played him as the attacking midfield player instead. Would have saved us money and helped the squad.

In terms of pure talent he was easily amongst the best in the squad, however his attitude and general persona was one of someone who was just content and couldn't care less whether he was still at Zenit or Arsenal.

Never got the impression he had much of a drive and hunger within himself, plus with a manager who is not known for his motivational ability it's not surprising he flopped in the end.

Easy to see why he spent so long at Zenit before making a move - he was in his comfort zone.

Never - in any sport - have I seen such a collapse. From one of the best players in the league to a sack of heavy shit. All in the space of about 12 months.

Moral of the story: Never buy anyone with an IQ over 100.

Kind of mirrors or collapse from one of the most talented and exciting squads to whatever we are now.

Torres has to be worse. Arshavin could probably pull it back if given a run of games. Torres has just lost it. Was one of the world's best and now he's utterly lost.

Yeah in terms of total collapse in form Torres surely cannot be beaten.

I think I read somewhere that Arshavin got 5 assists and 1 goal in his 11 appearances for us this season. That's not bad! Sign him up!

Ronaldinho might give Torres a challenge - Worlds best for years, making everybody else look like kindergarten kids to then just fade away at the age of 28-29ish (suppossed to be your best years).
