I agree, if the board goes another season without giving anything back something should be done about it. But meaningful collective action is incredibly difficult to organise and maintain, inside football and outside. In every walk of life common people are getting screwed over, football is no different. The numbers who are prepared to do anything about it are tiny. We shouldn't just be boycotting greedy shareholders at a football club, we should be fighting for reasonable transport costs to get to the games in the first place. And reasonable merchandising costs seeing as the kits are stitched together by slaves. And reasonable politicians who give a fuck about the country we all have to live in. And so on. Where's the collective action? Yes we have the power it's just a fact that not enough people are inclined to use it. So withholding financial support on an individual level is more a matter of conscience rather than an action that has impact on the intended target. I'm not saying we shouldn't try but I do say the wankers have a clear idea of how successful any push back is likely to be and it's a minimal risk for them to take.

Why is it so difficult in this day and age? With so many groups and writers on Twitter, the blogs, the forums, Facebook….the audience is there already and most Gooners I speak to are pissed off. I’m not even talking about an organised rally, petition or anything that requires effort and money from the majority. It’s just a simple message I’d like to see on Arseblog/Le Grove/ Online Gooner whatever….withdraw financial report somehow. If money is tight but you still manage to go to games….save yourself and your family some time and money. Stop going to games if possible. Merchandise, anything to maybe get that message across. It’s been a real shitty few years and there has been a real split with fans when it comes to the debate on Wenger and the Board. But with this sort of action, there is no need for chants or banners which may offend those that think it’s unproductive but it’s something at least. There is no way in hell they should be able to bank the money again this summer. If they’re going to do things on the cheap with us then we should all do the same. But that’s where the discussion has to go at some point because it’s getting so poisonous and pointless discussing the same issues season after season.

Season starts in just over 2 weeks, we still havent signed a player and looks like another summer of discontent with no significant signings. The manager and the board played us big time yet again. This time they went the whole 9 yards by actually bidding to make it look real, but they offerred well under the value of the selling club's figure. They even went as far as agreeing terms with a player, but he goes to Napoli to play in a shitty league. The fact is Napoli coughed up the dough what he was worth, whilist Gazidis and Wenger & Co were playing silly games by offering low valuations. Even Tottenham without Champions league football have better pulling power than us by attracting players. So thier signings may take time to settle down, but atleast Levy and his board put words in to action. Our Manager and board of directors should hang their heads in shame by turning us in to tha laughing stock of London.
