Certainly they're going down the power route. Not sure that's a great idea really, teams will park the bus routinely. Granted we're not in a great position to judge right now but I'd be very surprised if we didn't finish above them - I am expecting we will buy some randomers that will do a job of some degree.

but the thing is when you bed in new players you normally find yourself grinding out results even against poor opposition until the new players have settled and you start having the confidence to start attacking teams.
What we totally failed to do at the Emirates yesterday, as soon as we scored Villa were using their pace to try and force their way back into the game now if Wenger could get over his hubris and delusion and had any kind of tactical nous he would have encouraged the players to drop back for a bit and take the sting out of the game and a side like Villa which isn't great at possession football would not have much joy against our back four if it sat back deeper....and we could have been patience and looked to kill the game off second half.....wouldn't have been pretty but it would have been the best way to deal with the current situation.
But in Wenger's mind the team are world beaters and we can simply try and impose our passing game on anyone at home and come out victorious and this is why we were made to look bloody stupid.
