Strange match yesterday. We had lots of fair-to-good chances without actually creating one. I assume Bacuna getting MOTM was a sick joke, he was fucking terrible!! Sluggish, easily turned, blew passes centre centre and centre. We couldn't get close to Coutinho either. Delph is getting better all the time, thankfully.

We certainly chanced tack in the second half. Although I'm not completely sure why. We went from chasing for every ball [which we did very well] to plugging the gaps. I don't know if we were petrified of you hitting us on the counter.... again!

Oddly I didn't think Coutinho had all that good a game, seemed to lose possession a fair amount. As did Lucas, though he won it back just as often.

Bacuna got your MotM? He really was terrible.... but worth it just for the song. Benteke also seemed quiet, though he did get a few chances.

I wouldn't say Coutinho had much of a game either, but boy did we ever sit off him to give him the chance to have one! We 'went long' far too often in the first half - old habits die hard I guess - but we started to develop a few ideas in the second...
Result was probably just about fair all told..annoyingly!
