Just proves Wenger was right all along and most of the people on here screaming for us to shell out a similar outlay in the summer on similar quality players were wrong. Quality not quantity any day.

Anyway the Soldado being better than Giroud argument, based solely on his transfer fee seems utterly ridicolous now. How terrible is he? No hold up play and doesn't have the pace to make up for it. He's 28 as well so it's not like he's got potential to improve either.
