Very relieved that we won. I don't really care but if I'm being honest, Liverpool were quite clearly the better team. Many thanks to Webb for saving our arses - that was a definite penalty from Ox's challenge. Fabianski was our best player but Sturridge missed some cracking opportunities. Suarez, again, different class to everyone else on the pitch.
Anyway, as I said - I'm finding it hard to care; hopefully Everton should be less threatening so we've got a real chance of making it to the semi finals.
Sanogo seems like someone who'll pick up a lot of red cards in his career. Endearing but if you keep going up with your arms like that you're going to get called on it eventually.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
We've definitely had far more games where we've been unlucky with decisions - no argument there. I just think that this performance isn't really a recipe for success either; i.e. don't read too much into it. The defence looked uncharacteristically shaky as well, especially Mertesacker who seemed to be getting caught out constantly. I guess there wasn't much else we could do today - we had decent pace out there and a good attitude so that gives us a good chance.
