He's different kind of player to Cesc, similar to Nasri and more consistent than Nasri has been for us. Injury is the big problem and the 6 months off could have converted him into a Rosicky. Everyone expecting a like for like replacement for Nasri & Cesc are going to be disappointed. I'am expecting the Arteta, Yossi kind of signing, i hope we sign someone who is not injury prone

That's pretty much it. We can do some tidy work replacing the shiftless dross like Denilson, Bendtner, Diaby and similar with players such as Park, Benayoun, Arteta. It's much harder to get top quality players - your M'Vila's and Hazard's - with such a constricted time frame. OUr own fault of course but we'd be mad to eschew building up a decent squad in preparation for getting top quality players again. I don't think the one impacts the other, or shouldn't anyway.
