True but the thing is, we've gone so long without winning one of these big games we need to change that, failing to do so would signify failure to change the thing we need to change the most.
We've had plenty of chances to succeed over the years and never have.

No, it was a 1 in 1 chance. Multiply it up by the last draw and the fix is statistically certain.

You aren't getting this at all, are you? They don't rig draws and matches because they support the team. They do it for money. Unless, of course, you genuinely believe there is no corruption in a billion quid industry? Not even you could be that naive. Could you?

It makes more sense for them to have us play them in the final then, that's the showpiece event of the cup, they want to have two big teams as a one sided affair isn't a good advert for the tournament seeing as it's streamed across the world.
