Moyes is turning in to the less jovial Strachan.

So does anyone think he'll actually be sacked?

They spoke about giving him time but I very much doubt the powers that be expected them to be this bad.

They've lost 9 in the league. He's got to go, sadly.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

He's done a good job all things considered. Yes he's lost a few and maybe he can be accused of turning the champions into mid table dross. But.

    1- he s Scottish
    2- he is Fergies mate
3- the media love his Britishness

On balance he's been fergies Scottish mate on more occasions than not.

It's not even that they're losing, it's that they're losing whilst playing terribly. At the start of Rodgers' time with us we had some pretty poor results, but it was clear that he was getting us to play a certain style. Moyes is just getting the Champions (!) to smash it up field and hope for the best. He got his tactics horribly wrong today but even when everyone could see what was wrong, not least Neville, he carried on regardless.

People said off hand that him buying Mata wasn't a problem because he wouldn't know what to do with him... that's not looking far wrong.

Playing Januzaj and Mata as wingers was just odd; Mata had no chance of getting on the ball and creating when shoved out on a by line, and Januzaj only had glimpses of decency when he managed to get an overlap. Otherwise they were both anonymous and were given the run around by Allen and Henderson. Rooney ran around a bit without actually doing anything, Carrick was a coward. Afraid to do anything himself or take responsibility. There's a difference between keeping possession ticking over and actually refusing to run into 30 yards of space with the ball in favour of a sideways ball to [I think] Evra who had defenders to get past. Fellaini is a bumbling oaf, but he was doing the work of two. Even then, playing two midfielders who can barely run against the likes of Sterling, Henderson and Allen is asking for trouble. They'll run rings round you and won't get tired of doing it. The only thing Fellaini brought to the game was being able to win the headers from goal kicks. It wouldn't surprise me if that was part of the reason Moyes bought him... apart from the obvious panic.
Most of the service to Van Persie ended up being crosses. Shit, aimless crosses. How does he still think this is a viable tactic? Though his only contributions to the match were to smash it into the side netting, when he wasn't flagged offside of course. Little boy etc.

They can whinge about the 3rd penalty all they like, but it made absolutely no difference to the game. And yes I did think it was a flop from Sturridge. But equally Fellaini could quite easily have had one given against him in the first half, Sturridge had one turned down which was the clearest of the lot and Rafael should have been sent off about 8 times. In any case, we did them a favour by getting Vidic sent off. Ferdinand coming on was the icing on the cake. Never have I seen two players so far past it. It's actually quite sad to see. Hilarious too.

He commands no respect from the players. He has no aura with the fans, instils no confidence. It doesn't even seem like he has a plan. Just "we've got decent players, if we just play them all, they'll figure it out"..... as it turns out, no they can't.

How can you continue to stick up for Moyes after a performance like that?
