Quick Question: how would people feel if we lost this game by a big margin?
The last thing we need is another bad defeat, no one will beneift from it. The damage has been done and another beating will further dent our ebbing confidence and morale. We have a cup semi coming up and a real fight for 4th so at the very worse a defeat and minimal defeat. Anyone that feels a big defeat will help are deluded. We are getting bashed by the press and rival fans. PLease no, not another stuffing!
Of course Kos is out for this - so our realistic chances are in freefall. I think if we scrape an ill deserved draw based on luck and severe refereeing incompetence in our favour then we have done well and we have also witnessed a referring miracle.
Without Kos, Ramsey, Walcott, Ozil, Wilshere we stand very little chance here. If we had spent a billion quid in the transfer window we'd have suitable replacements, as it is we don't. We shut up shop, try to last the 90mins, forget about attack altogether if we are playing Giroud. What is Giroud going to do against the gypos? Nothing at all. His sole role should be to receive punts from defence and try to at least hold the ball for a few seconds before booting it out of the stadium until they run out of balls.

I'd start Kalstrom alongside Flamini. He looked good when he came on the other day and one of his strengths is his strength! he isnt weak like our other CMs and he can be our Matic.
If it wasn't for the big losses already this season to Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea away I wouldn't really care at all. After all three point is just three points - we weren't ever going to catch Liverpool and City on GD.
However given the low confidence right now because of the recent slump I don't think we can afford another pummeling right now.
We will grind out a boring 0-4
