@QueenUK response posted "Sorry Mario one can kiss one's cheeks, one is cheering on Germany"

Yep, aside from a 10 minute spell after the goal, we were pretty poor last night, we couldn't keep hold of the ball and looked really disjointed offensively.

One thing I will say is that our defence needs rebuilding, I know we were up against Suarez but I have felt for a long time that every one of the back 4 is replaceable, very replaceable. I would probably keep hold of Cahill, the rest should be ditched, bang average not good enough...and found out at International level.

We have a problem in Central Midfield too...

And with coaching - other than that, everything looks good.

I only saw the last half hour, but it looked like the usual sunday league shit from England - when the the opposition get near our area, just wildly smash the ball away up the pitch as hard as you can, and when you have possession yourself, have someone sound the trumpet to "CHARGE!" and all flock after the ball at once at 100 mph. No shape or structure or planning to anything we do - just go out and see what happens.

Although, to be fair to them, it does at least look like they give a shit, and are actually trying this time...

Didn't see any of it but I've seen the goals. As crap as I am at football even I know you have to track players, the first goal they all just watched as Suarez drifted through them and headed it in. The 2nd goal Hart actually seemed to get out of the way

    In brief:

For the first goal I think Jagielka was trying to keep the defensive line/shape but seeing as Suarez was the only player near our box it was kind of silly to be worrying about playing anyone else onside. Lee Dixon said he pretty much did the right thing but his body position was all wrong so he couldn't deal with the ball in from Cavani. Tbf it was a stunning pass by Cavani, absolutely perfect.

The second goal... oh dear. Gerrard must have an all time record for assisting his opponents. It looked unstoppable in real time but you can see from the replay that Suarez actually hits it too straight - Hart should be getting something on that. Awful goalkeeping from an awful goalkeeper

Pretty much the same with Balotelli's goal in the first game - the player drifted away from his marker and nodded it in unchallenged...
