Money and the hype wagon. He's probably the worst striker in International football. But because he scored that goal for Everton against us and then went for £30mill and now steals £300k per week he one of those football celebs that doesn't really need to play football any more. So he doesn't.

Average start to the match with some good stuff every now and again, then drifted out to a pile of shit. Norway woeful, hardly opposition at all. England looked little bit dangerous when they played with a higher tempo. But then they slowed it all down and now they look like Arsenal on a slow day. Tip, tap, tip, tap. Lose it. Get it back. Tip, tap, tip, tap. The odd hoof to test Sturridge's first touch seems to be the main offensive tactic. But when Sturridge has combined with either Sterling on the left or Ox on the right there have been glimmers of hope. It's hard to beat Rooney though, easily Norway's best defender.
