Wenget says Arteta and Ramsey likely to be out for up to a month.
Although they've both been a bit shit so maybe not the worst blow.
Thank goodness for Arteta. Ramsey injury means that Cazorla can get playing time. That can only be a good thing! Even Rosicky can come in (though he was bit shit against Southampton). Though injury to Arteta means Flamini comes in as defensive cover!
Seriously hope Diaby or Chambers is played there against Chelsea.. or else the score will go into double digits!
Arsene Wenger, the only football manager that got paid 8 million quid to do nothing but sit on his arse..
Thing is with Arteta, far too slow to be trusted to slot in, in the big games away from home but actually at home to Spurs he was pretty tidy and actually we looked relatively watertight at the back against the spurs counter attack when he was on the pitch, but as soon as Flamini came on the pitch it all went to shit. I don't know what's wrong with him, even his bookings don't seem to be the same anymore now they are just clumsy rather than from a heartfelt desire to hurt someone like last season when we loved him.
At this rate carry your boots with ya, we'll need a super-sub more than a knife crime victim.
WUMget
Try playing Diaby and Chambers as a midfield pairing with Ozil in front of them. Welbeck up top, Sanchez out left, Ox/Carzola out right and Bellerin at right back ...just go for it, nothing whatsoever to lose..... come on Wenget, shock me!
'WHEN HE HAS A PLAN, WE BACK HIM, WHEN HE DOESN'T......WE KEEP QUIET'
Ramsey will be missed, he hasnt been at his best but we dont have anyone else in the squad with his engine and goal scoring threat.
Hopefully this means Ozil will play in his favourite position with Jack and Flamini (or Diaby) behind him.
