Plenty feel the same on the likes of twitter. Does it not show how dissatisfied and disillusioned we are with the current regime?

I'm disillusioned. That said, I never want us to lose, yet I don't care that we won tonight. I didn't bother to watch, but I've read a fair bit of the match thread.

I haven't seen any highlights or the goals. I won't go out of my way to see them nor will I make an effort to avoid them.

Because right now, Arsenal aren't worth an effort either way.

A win that will not catapult us into anything whatsoever this season.

    So utterly pointless.

Yeah, wish we lost and went into Europa instead. More our level.

No not really, first of all I regard my support for Arsenal as unconditional.....no one can be happy with how things are going but it seems perverse to want things to get worse.

Last season I wanted Wenger not to sign a new contract and in the FA cup semi final with 4th place having been taken away from us and ten minutes from defeat by Wigan I felt this was the closest we'd come to the end of his reign, but I got no joy out of this and was hugely relieved when we equalised and won on penalties. My love of the club and wanting us to win games far outweighs my frustration with l'ouisseau.

The AGM shower proved that the board are a bunch of clowns who don't care about the footballing aspect of the club, and a replacement to Wenger coming as a result of results that leave us in crisis would be grand folly.
It is not good enough that we persist with a manager who sees the pinnacle of his achievements as finishing in the champions league qualifying places to make the club more revenues, but as long as that still continues to happen I am happy to wait till 2017, when Wenger goes and leaves the club in a good state for a fresher younger manager to push on and have us challenging and winning major honours.

    What utter drivel.

You apologists sure know how to paint a rosy outlook in times if frustration, don't you?

Looking at our team getting shitter and shitter, what good state do you expect Wenger to hand over things in to a new manager after 2 1/2 more seasons? What will be better then than now?

That manager will have some task rebuilding this team, adding some bottle and instilling a winning mentality in and around the Club. As such, I say we get on with the job early. Ideally, Wenger Out by the time the January window opens.

Has it? We've started this season very poorly but is there a clear negative trend going back longer term?
    We've stagnated, we've not declined.

    Stagnated?

    Really?

    Ok.

Knowing how you are heavy into stats, now would be an ideal time for you to reel out some.

Our points tally over the last 4 seasons - in brackets the gap between us and the eventual champions:

    2011 - 68 (12)
    2012 - 70 (19)
    2013 - 73 (16)
    2014 - 79 (7)

So fine, not stagnated. We've clearly improved over the last few years.

    Your turn.
