For those of you who are worried that getting rid of Wenger could result in a worse situation, could any manager be providing us with worse football at the moment. Not strong enough in many positions on the pitch, not strong enough in squad depth bearing in mind our ridiculous injury record, the most predictable style of play anywhere in football & awful decision making on set -up & substitutions - this is our team under Wenger. People joke about the likes of Moyes & Coyle but could they actually make us play any worse at the moment.

Look at the likes of Eden Hasard , Kompany , Dembele , Fellaini , Courtois ,Lukaku , Vermaelen ,Benteke , Origi , Vertonghen ,
There are more unknown talents in Belgium ,Adna Januzaj , Merteins , De Bruyne , Mignolet , Defour , all came from Belgium .
Back in the days , Anderlecht was one of the top teams in Europe . A few years ago we even saw how Standard de Liege , another team from Belgium , beat Liverpool in Anfield in champions league .
Underestimating a rival can be deadly . And I believe we nearly suffered from that . Our players were thinking it would be an easy evening for them and almost got punished .
2 points. Yes Belgium do have a number of very good players but they're not at Anderlecht. They play in a league that quality wise is on par with our Div1. They are a very young, inexperienced team that haven't won a Champions league game for ages.
We are Arsenal, we have 60,000 fans paying to watch us every home game with many millions in our bank, we have a manager who's been here for years & has all the time & money required to compete in all competitions, we have a team of supposed internationals - so why the hell shouldn't we expect to beat Anderlecht.
Secondly, forgot about the winning for the moment. Its the actual football we're playing that is awful. I have to admit, its coming to a time now where I was actually disappointed that we won last night. We didn't deserve it & these late goals to either draw or win games are simply papering over the cracks & allowing Wenger to continue to do nothing differently.

Fair enough . But I didn't say we shouldn't have won the game . It is true most of their talents don't play for Anderlecht ATM . But It also true most of their players are unknown to us . That does not make them less talented .
Before Lukaku moved to England , he was at Anderlecht and was always deadly . You play against such a player with a wrong attitude ,you surely get what you deserve : eggs on your face .

If we were playing well this season and you could easily excuse a scrappy result like this against a pub team, but as we haven't it's all a bit downbeat and it feeds into the awful narrative that's been building so far about Wenger tactical flaws still being present despite spending money.

Yes well done on getting three points, but the performance and lack of any cutting edge up front (apart from Alexis) and poor defence still remain.

Alexis must be thinking, what the hell did I sign up for now. There's a world of difference between him and everyone else in the team as things stand.

No one to blame apart from Wenger though.

Oh well, just hope this inspires us to go on a 49 unbeaten style run. We have always been a confidence team under Wenger so who knows?

What a fraud this guy has become.
He was quoted as saying before the match that our performances haven't gotten us the results we have deserved this season?! WTF? I was literally speechless when they were discussing it.

I did chuckle at the 'refused to lose' sound byte. Makes it sound like we thwarted Anderlecht, when the truth is a more adept team would have buried us.

    WUMgers gonna WUM.

Frimpong might be a tool but even he can see we have no balance. If he says that then i wonder what the current players think?

Some of our players are at it too. Flamini, Chesney and Mertesacker have all praised our 'character' for coming back to draw against Everton and Hull. Where was the character in the first 75 minutes you cunts?

Such is the distaste for our manager that not a single person has mentioned that in his post match interview.... Gibbs said 'we sent a statement out there' or words to that effect......My ribena almost came out of my nose hearing it..
