Why aren't we seriously in the hunt for Hummels? We could at least drive up the fee for a rival and make FFP bite. afaik he's basically a hybrid of a Wilshere and Ramsey, silky attacking midfielder but without perhaps the industry of the latter. Completely redundant to our needs at the moment. In fact the position we're most covered in.

Whether it's blown or not, we used to hear the figure of £30mill every transfer window. Now we have money, it's £20mill. If we discovered oil and gold reserves under the car park a £10mill kitty would be announced.
