Not to defend Gazidis but it simply could be that we have money but Kroenke's refusing to sanction it because he needs to keep liquidity to finance his new stadium in LA.
Obviously if he had any integrity he'd resign and publicly shit on Stan but finding a spine in the corporate world is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Oh behave. We could never be regarded as a top club playing in an old, small and increasingly run down stadium - the stadium move was essential and good planning by us to do it early on.
It wasn't the stadium it was introducing the cancer Kroenke to our club that began the start of our real long term woes. And ironically it was the guy you're constantly championing on here, David Dein, that introduced him.
A good owner would have said thanks Arsene but good bye and employed someone else but no Kroenke doesn't give a fuck apart from lining his own pockets.
