That is par for the course.

People were always buying me football shirts as presents. I can’t remember buying one myself because I thought £39 was a bit much to pay to walk around advertising a Middle Eastern airline I’d never used.

When I found out the real cost, I asked everybody to spend their money on any football merchandise for me.

Worked out well, I’ve got nicer clothes and a great pair of headphones.
If you don’t send this signature to ten people, you will become a Spurs fan.

Made a conscious decision to never buy a football shirt again. It’s a huge waste of money, I’ve got about 6 shirts that I’ve worn to games and worn while playing football or working out. Certainly no need for any more.

It is quite an impressive con that clubs - not just Arsenal - change their shirts every single year so that fans feel compelled to buy the "latest" one.
How did they convince us to do this?

Well, I say "us". Not me.

Stopped wearing shirts to games / stopped buying them when I was about 14. Which is the age when all people should stop wearing such bollocks.

Kept my old ones for safe keeping from better times, and love my 71 shirt. But full kit (indeed half kit) wankers are nothing more than scousers in my eyes.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

I've got an old Dreamcast kit ( ) I wear when I play football, which is more-or-less never these days. That's about it.

I bought an away shirt once, one of the Nike yellow ones. Got Chamakh printed on the back.

It's true, people do lose all common sense when it comes to these things.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

    Hell yes.

We'd just signed him after his decent Champions League season. He had a decent start for us as well.

    I don't think I've ever worn it. It's a nice shirt otherwise.
