    On the game:
"We have shown a top, top spirit tonight. When you are questioned the best way to respond is to deliver an exceptional quality of work.

We have been questioned by many who only live by questioning. Do they have the answers? Well, no. Do I have the answers always? As well you know I have been in this environment for a long time and sometimes it is a quality to respect a stable stability.

These players have shown they can compete with the best and tonight I must say have produced an outstanding global impression.

    On recent results:
Are Brighton one of the best? Well, I believe there were little bit difficult circumstances on Sunday which I cannot go into now. Will I go into them in the future? Maybe.

On the ongoing speculation about his future:
Look, I give you the same answer on my future. I have had many, many opportunities to work in other jobs. Your job I must say is very easy! But no, I honour the contract I signed and I believe we must be humble to maintain the dignity and produce more nights like these."

    He's completely deluded.

We were lucky that AC Milan are crap these days and like Osterlaunds before them seemed to get stage fright facing a supposedly big team in us. Managed to string a few quality moves together that led to the goals but the fluidity still wasn't there, not surprising though given who was leading the line for us.

Thought defensively we were awful and Jack had a complete shocker. We desperately need some physicality in the centre of the pitch.

Didn't think it was anything to do with stage fright. Milan are a very limited team quality wise and have been for many years now and by Gattuso's own admission he is no genius.....just a decent honest manager who cares about what he's doing.

Kos made some vital interceptions after being a mere shadow of himself this season. Needs to continue like he was tonight and not like he has been for the majority of this season.

We can still screw this up at the Emirates but it looks like we'll qualify.

Yep. This is our level, it sucks but at least we might be able to succeed and that’s better than being completely out of our depth in the CL.

I want to win this thing even if it means another year of Wenker.
