Pointless Celebrities just had a round in the final on 1989 and one of the categories was players who played in Anfield '89!
These are the pointless answers if you want to play at home (I got one of these!)

NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
Kos is out for 6 months.![]()
Sad timing for him. Hope he gets back to full fitness.

Gutted for him. Misses the World Cup and with that probably his last chance to represent Les Bleus.
No matter what you think about his captaincy or his mistake against Atletico, he's been one of the few defenders that's looked semi-competent in an Arsenal defence that under Wenger is always firefighting and never structured in a way to prevent goals which is a testament to his skills.
If it is Allegri, it means that he'll need to bring in a Chiellini or someone of similar gravitas to help cover until the new guys are ready.
I completely agree. Kos can be a bit unpredictable but you have to consider the defence he is part of. Not just in terms of personnel but also with the complete absence of any effective coaching strategy.
Kos works hard and he does care.

Wasn't a player within 6 yards of him when he went down. Bizarre injury.

Those tend to be the most damaging. Even the Atletico players reacted immediately to get him help.

Shame about Kos, I hate to see payers getting injured just before a big tournament and the last he'd probably play in. He's going to find it hard to come back.
Hopefully sentimentality has no place in the new manager's book. 6 months out means we're down a CB. New signing required to take his place. No question. Sport is a competitive business, not a sick house of the kind Wenger has been running all these years.
