MO is spot on, people just seem to be jealous of him, arguably the greatest player of all time, produces the seemingly impossible time after time, at every level he plays at, brilliant performance last night and that free was unbelievable, the penalty again a lot of pressure on those and he never to put them away.

Great player, people should just get over themselves and praise him for what he is, an all time great and the best player in the world at the moment (even at the age of 33).

Portugal without him would have no chance of winning anything, but with him you never know, they won the Euros, yes he's very confident/arrogant at time, but having watched so many arrogant players who don't deliver and seeing this guy who does time and time again, do you know what, when you're that good you've got to expect someone to have that inner belief/borderline arrogance that's part of what make them so good!

All the best footballers are arrogant, maybe not as outwardly as he is, but they are. You talk about what some managers have done for football, but look at what this guy has done for football, taken it to a whole new level and insprired a generation to try and be as good as him!

Would have loved to have been lucky enough to have seen him at Arsenal, sadly it wasn't to be, Man U fans got that privilege instead, but I guess we got 2nd prize (or 4th), we almost signed him
