Yeah I feel a bit refreshed now, at least enough to see me through the Portugal vs Uruguay clash.


The ridiculous heat right now in the UK didn't help though .... makes it easy to doze off. Though what didn't help was that I was streaming it on my laptop whilst on my bed ...... amateur mistake.

Ronaldo has done better than Messi on the international stage. Besides the World Cup, Messi has choked a lot in the Copa America but Ronaldo has a European trophy and so far, he's had a much better tournament this WC.

I prefer Messi but a lot more respect for Ronaldo because he's delivered for Man Utd, Real Madrid and Portugal. And that Portugal team is average compared to some of the other international teams.

You have to respect them both, although Ronaldo makes it easier to laugh at him when he fucks up because he’s worse at hiding his ego than Messi.

Comparing them by trophies doesn’t make sense to me as the other ten players play just as important a role domestically and internationally.

Only when they retire will there be a proper perspective on how amazing they both were.
