Since Sunderland were last promoted, their record at the emirates is lose, draw, lose, draw, lose, draw, lose
All of the draws have been 0-0 so if that pattern continues that's the result most likely this evening. Also bare in mind that Sunderland don't need to win, they only need a point to guarantee safety and given that we only need a point to pretty much get third it kind of suggests a result that suits both sides.
Don't know the last time Sunderland beat us at home in the league, the last time in any competition was 3-2 at Highbury in the Worthington cup in 2002.
