Winners wouldn't have a problem with stripping the Captaincy from someone who doesn't deserve it.
The real question is - does Arteta have the balls to be a winner?

Odegaard has actually been quite cowardly at times, not what you want from your Captain.

Just feel this stance is a little bit harsh right now considering Odegaard has been one of our better players over the past few years. Wasn’t he voted player of the year in the 2 seasons we challenged for the title?

He had an awful season no doubt about it but I wouldn’t kill him off just yet.

No one is obliged to agree with him. I can see it both ways…..I think Rice would make a far better captain but equally the role of Captain isn’t as relevant as it was in Adam’s day. I mainly want to see Odegaard stripped of the captaincy because I don’t want to see him playing at all

People calling Adams a drunk, a few Nigerian sounding lads saying “he isn’t a club legend”. Sorry guys Arsenal pre-dates 2019 when WiFi first came to your village….he most definitely is a club legend.

I know it might seem harsh, but we can't keep molly coddling these players.

He's a great player when he wants to be, but that is separate from is ability as a Captain.
He is not good enough and too cowardly when it matters.

A good Captain knows when to bollock the other players on the pitch and in return they should look to him to step up and give them an extra boost, drive them on when the chips are down.

Odegaard can't and has never done that.

In the other two The defenders are holding on to the Arsenal players.
