And if we’d signed Jackson for even half that amount you’d be apoplectic

I don’t know what’s going on for Bayern that they’d even consider such a move. I think there’s something clearly dodgy going on with Chelsea and their player sales.

They are offering to pay more for him than they did for Luiz Diaz, that’s suspect

I remember the fa cup tie against Forest three years ago when Arteta hauled Lokonga off and thought it was massively harsh but crikey…I’m sorry but he’s terrible. I remember the following year against Oxford United he was being bullied and outplayed by what was then league one players.

I know they’ve got these guys on massive contracts to future proof their value but still something is a bit off.

Not long ago Bayern were interested in a Trossard, why couldn't that go further? Or why couldn't we drum up interest in Nelson who had a great loan spell at Hoffenheim at a point in time?

I won't even bother mentioning the strong Martinelli interest they showed earlier as that is clearly going to forever haunt us , especially when we do get rid of him for a pittance.

Agree about Martinelli. Prime time to sell him was this summer, Madueke and Eze have come in so he should have been moved on really. There’s an art to selling but it also requires some foresight which we lack in spotting when there’s a dip.
