I do wonder if there will be a tipping point with the cost of supporting Arsenal. The club always claim demand is high but at some stage surely the majority fan base will turn round and say you're taking the piss. All this additional revenue from advertising & TV etc; yet it's not reflected in the ticket prices. Personally I am becoming less and less inclined to put money into their coffers. Each year the number of live games I attend reduces.

And you're replaced by the tourists who sat infront of me on Saturday, they were clutching their bag of goodies from the Armoury...kerching! I do wonder if they miss out long term as kids tell their parents they'd rather follow Citeh or Chavs etc due to lack of success

Exactly what happened to me. Tried to get my 10 year old interested in football. No...it was computer games and Ben 10. Then he went to boarding school. BAM! came back a United supporter. I blame Wenger...naturally. He`s 19 now and in Uni....possibly a lost cause.

Those tourists will stop visiting the second Arsenal stop delivering. But they're still here in big numbers. Because, maybe, just maybe, even they're not spoilt enough to consider that despite winning the FA cup you've still had a shit season. How very traditional of them.

But Arsenal are indeed thieving cunts. If you forget your membership card they charge you an extra tenner to get in. It doesn't take 50p to print a new ticket. There's so many complaints the staff actually bargain to a fiver or less. Amateur stuff.

If you feel so passionately about the transformation of sport into profiteering you should maybe seek a role at the club. We'll all leave, you can pick up a few extra quid reminding the tourists how privileged they are.

When I was unsure job wise a few years back some may recall I had a season ticket for my Dad and I at Fulham (cheaper for both near halfway line than my 1 Arsenal one) and that was filled with tourists to see BLitW as ticket availability was generally good. I don't see Arsenal losing out too much in tourist income tbh, well at least until Spuffs and Chavs open up bigger stadiums (and to a lesser extent those up north teams too).
