solid first half, had 3 really good chances that we simply cannot waste. we look dangerous on the break through Theo, Alexis and Ozil. Bayern are a top side and will open us up at some point its hard to chase the ball all game and keep your concentration going.

Weak header, shouldn't even be giving Neuer a chance.

What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

    HT 0-0

We should be winning this but Theo Walcott has been beyond dreadful. All huff and puff but zero end product. And then when he gets an open goal he blows it. That's why you have the top tier striker. You get the chance and bang, no questions, it's a goal.

Coquelin has done Wenger's job for him. He pulled the defence together and dropped a bit deeper to help them. That has made it harder for Bayern to slice through us.

Because we're sitting off them, he's coming inside, so a simple ball out wide to Costa leaves Bellerin isolated. He's learning all sorts of lessons tonight he wouldn't come close to in the PL.

I'm pleased with the threat we're poising going forward, at least we're giving them something to thing about and on balance we've had the better chances.

Good on the counter brought two excellent saves from Neuer, Bellerin needs help dealing with Costa....we have kept Lewandowski quiet but still too passive letting them weave pretty patterns through us....need to get in their faces more....early ball distribution when we've won back possession has been generally good.

Costa is a beast, wow. So good on the ball, fast, strong, tricky and scary to face.

Ozil should have gone high with that early shot.

    Theo

Right in front of goal. Unmarked. Unpressurised. Ball arrives right on his head. It doesn't ever, ever, ever get better than that. That's the miss of the season, not the save of the season.

    Michael Ballack is a dickhead.

And in fairness, that's quite some feat when you're sat next to Rio Ferdinand.
