Bellerin too? That's great. Whenever we get up a head of steam the injuries hit back hard. Hope it's not a "2 week" job![]()

Bellerin just proves the point. The boy wasn't even in a competitive match and he's out injured. I didn't think we had a hope of winning the CL this season but was still excited about putting our wits against the best team in Europe. It's part of our psyche as fans to be cautious and worry about injuries and effects on other competitions etc but that's separate from the players. It is their job to surprise us, as they did in our last game against Bayern, not panic about injuries and longer term effects. The mantra is constantly one game at a time from a football player because they never know what is round the corner. If they start worrying like we do then the club would have no chance of progression. The team improves by achieving the unthinkable and eventually that is how our confidence grows too. They have to be realistic about winning this one game, which after our past few games against Bayern is positive and then worry about what happens after that. It would be great if we could roll out a second string and pull out a result but against this level of opposition, we'll only get a complete hammering that way.

Fuckin hell Bellerin
Let's hope Debuchy can show the decent form he showed before he got injured/France
Hoping for a draw

We're handicapped in terms of our first XI and any options from the bench. And we're playing one of the two best club sides in the world on their own pitch. It would be nice to go into a battle with a full armoury at our disposal for once, rather than the ramshackle contents of the kitchen drawers.
But hopefully, they play with the same focus and application as the reverse game and guys like Debuchy, Campbell and Giroud can approach it like a cup final and show their worth. Any result in this difficult situation would be a massive bonus, especially if it helps to continue our momentum in the league games. And no more fucking injuries please.
Come on Arsenal.
Without Theo up front, I worry we won't have the pace to be a threat on the counters. Just hope they don't pin us back and pummel us.

An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
No Kosc , apparently injured![]()
I agree but what I would say is that when Theo does play it's usually been with Ramsey on the wing as well, so with Campbell and Sanchez I think we have enough options pace wise.
The big drawback is Bellerin and Debuchy is going to need help dealing with Douglas Costa or could be long night for us
