We don't actually need a striker at all in this system. We'd be better off with an extra man in the middle so we could create a second triangle to ping it around. Variation is the spice of life.

Not to scapegoat him but there really is no reason why Coquelin should start ahead of Xhaka. We really are missing the latter's dynamism whereas the former is pretty much wasted and pointless in a game like this.
Abysmal start but we did managed to turn things around mainly due to Santi becoming more influential. Theo's had his moment but apart from that no one else in attack has done anything and it took Kos to level it up for us.
Thank god we aren't playing a top team on fire because we probably would have been 3 or 4 down already with the start we had.
Oh well, we've got a deep bench to call on if need be.

Mustafi looks like a bog standard CB, nothing special about this guy on first looks. Not bad, not good. Very ordinary. And not really tested so far.
Can't make much of a judgement on Peres. He's totally isolated, 30 yards from the main action which is in the centre circle - tip, tap, sideways, backwards, repeat.
Wenger frustrated until Kos bailed his stupid arse out. He went from blaming the players to blaming the ref, his usual arms flapping routine on the sideline. He seems to forget, his team, his system, his boreball. A man who demands total control but accepts no responsibility.
Santi very good though. He's so important to the team that Wenger can't drop him for his constant transgressions, such as passing the ball forward, trying to up the tempo, injecting pace. Well done Santi.
