I would have played Xhaka deep myself and maybe played Cazorla in more advanced position, but that would then mean him or Ozil have to play in a wide position

Whilst I agree about Walcott, I don't feel Ox has ever had enough game time to play himself into form.

Harsh on Mustafi NQ. It's literally his first game and as you say he's not really been tested so far. Not sure what you're expecting from him today ...... to make a mazy 30 yard run and belt one in the bottom corner like Vermelean.

It'll be the tough away games against the top teams where you'll really see Mustafi's quality come through imo.

Well I hope so, but you can tell though, can't you? Top players stand out. He looks okay, very ordinary. His passes are directed into the vicinity of his target. His coverage is... ordinary. His distribution, it has ranged from ordinary to extremely poor.

Yes, first game, but let's not pretend we have added a top player to the team. But I don't jump all over Peres after a nothing performance - he's had virtually no chance to show what sort of a player he is.
