Well they have five other games guaranteed. It just strikes me as diminishing the chances of ever getting much enjoyment out of watching football - I don't see why cold rationality is needed in September after one group game.
The hope is they pick up an injury tonight so it leaves the short for the weekend fixtures. Winning or losing the UEFA Cup won't make a blind bit of difference to Mourinho's tenure.
I disagree. After the abysmal season last season more and more defeats has to eat away.
