He's got so many miles on the clock, having played 40-50 games for 13 seasons straight. His body just isn't sharp enough anymore, he might be able to do a job now and then but his days of being a consistent, reliable performer are over. The media really need to stop fussing over him and accept he isn't the player they want him to be anymore, midfielder or striker it doesn't bloody matter.
