Thought Alexis could have been stronger, but it was a clear penalty and the only reason for it not being given must be because the ref's a cheat. No other possible explanation. And a red card too. Probably why he waved it on, too gutless to apply the rules. But he had no problem at the other end. He's always been a terrible ref.

And here is the Sunderland manager, David Moyes, with his views on the match.

He tells BBC Sport: "It was tough to take and I certainly didn't think we deserved to lose 4-1. We put up a really good show to stick with Arsenal when they were good.

"We fought really hard to stay in the game and we grew into the game. We were the better team at one each, but they have that quality.

"If you lose goals to Arsenal with great interplay then you hold your hands up but I'm disappointed we lost two goals to crosses."

    Moyes

You were lucky not to lose that 10 - 1!!!

He's saying they were the better team for five minutes.

    Also, Moyes.

Can't believe he said about taking some of the players to visit the Nissan plant, says he will be looking for a job.

NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Watching the goals back is so much more satisfying when you here the defeat in the co-comentators voice.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

I like Gerry Armstrong as a co-commentator, although he has a bizarre habit of thinking he is actually the lead commentator and the producer.

There was a Spud in the Sunderland end for some reaon.
