LILLE striker Moussa Sow has issued a 'come-and-get-me' plea to Arsenal.

The Gunners scouted the Senegal international while checking on Eden Hazard and Gervinho last season.

Arsene Wenger splashed £10.7million on Gervinho in the summer but failed to follow up his interest in Hazard or Sow.

But with Marouane Chamakh and Chu-Young Park failing to provide adequate backup for Robin van Persie, Sow has revealed he is ready to move to the Emirates Stadium at the end of this campaign.

The 25-year-old told French radio station RMC Sports: "I have a contract signed until June 2013 and Lille want me to sign another one but the negotiations have stopped.

"I don't accept the conditions or the silence from the club. That's not me putting on pressure, just the truth.

"I'm only thinking about football and it's not possible to leave in January.

"But my dream is to play in the Premier League because you progress as a player with the atmosphere, goals and game.

"I watch the games with envy on TV. I desire to play there one day. Arsenal are a big club but we will see."

Sow has scored 29 goals in 48 league games for Lille since joining from Rennes 18 months ago.

Doesn't matter who we get tbf, playing as a back up striker is a nightmare as you cant form an understanding with the players in the first team and you only play sporadically.

I know most guys on here hate Chamakh but imagine how hard it is to sit on the bench week in week out and then be suddenly plunged into the team and expected to deliver.

I'm just as synical as it gets with footballers who earn far too much. But I'm also of the opinion that if you're footballer for a top 10 side in Europe (which we roughly are), you must've had enough of a drive to get you into that incredibly competitive position in the first place. You have to be exceptionally talented if you're playing at this level despite not letting football be your life. Arshavin is probably the only one in our squad that could qualify. I think it's unfair to assume Chamakh is content with his role in the squad, but I guess we'll find out soon enough in the next transfer window.

When someone gives you lemons they say you should make Lemmonade. Chamakh does not get many chances these days, only Wenger knows why, but when he gets them he don't seem to take to chances and make a name for himself.

He needs to show he is good enough to be a starter or he'll have no choice but to sit on a bench.
