    Debuchy out for 3 months.....or maybe 6

Seems Bellerin is gonna get lots of playing time. Good because the kid is quality, but what happens when Shawcross fold him in 2 like a pretzel. What then?

Think it'll be Bellerin in the easy matches against pub teams at home and Chambers in away games and against top opposition.

Obviously the latter option carries with it a risk of injuring our only CB cover and leaving at us the mercy of one more injury derailing our season completely. But that's the price you pay for not reinforcing an area where everyone could see was horrendously light.

In other news, Manolas, the guy who we were linked to all summer but let go to Roma (because we refused to shell out a few million more according to some sources), has been very good for them so far this season.

I really think we should be looking at any one of the out of contract geriatrics currently available. We really shouldnt be playing this risky game witjh only 3 CBs and one of them at RB.......Think Flamini should play RB at home against some of the rough and tumble teams, but that leaves Arteta in the holding MF role. Wenger!!!

It will be fine. Wenger will concoct a fullback for us out of nowhere.

    Campbell
Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."

chambers can go there for now but yes we don't have much depth in defence.

It seems the art of defending has died (they seem more concerned with technique and passing than clean and efficient tackling these days) and with it availability has collapsed and pricing has surged.
