I didn't say he wasn't. But in fairness most managers are. Most managers are only as good as their current season.

Conte is being lauded as a genius for what he's achieved with Chelsea but hardly had nothing to spend and it's fair to say Allegri has surpassed what he achieved with Juventus. I think Conte has done well don't get me wrong, but I think views on managers tend to be ephemeral.


I could be wrong but I still think Guardiola will come good with City. And I just thought it was a bit daft to completely rubbish Guardiola based on losing to Wenger.
