I think he said in his press conference today that he wanted it out in the open now, rather than the speculation carrying on. If anything it is Guardiola who should've kept his mouth shut about coming to the UK next season.

    Fixed your little mistake there.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Yeah he (Pep) comes across as a right attention seeker, he's a lot more likeable than Maureen for obvious reasons but he's kind of cut from the same cloth, it's all about "him".

He won't be here long anyway, 3 seasons of PL wins for Citeh and he'll be off on his next "vanity" project.

Who will be left? Maureen is a hateful little shit and all, but you won't see Pep taking on a challenge like Inter. I reckon he'll go into films or apply to be Pope after his turn with the gypsies.

    Predictable move.

    Hope he fails miserably.

Yeah that too but out of the clubs looking for a manager (i dont think Arsenal are in the hunt), City have been the ones who have shows serious interest. Man ure are sleeping and Chelsea are too busy paying off Maureen.

The obvious reason being that Maureen is the worst human being in the history of human beings?

That's what I said - ie that Pellegrini won't throw in the towel. That much is pretty evident - he will have been aware for ages that Guardiola is coming, and he's been extremely professional and dignified throughout. As I said - it's his players who won't have much incentive to put in 110%. That's the problem with mercenaries who by and large play for themselves rather than the club. I know that covers 90% of footballers these days, but there are degrees - and the pay levels tend to be inversely proportional to feeling for the club they play for. I fully expect Citeh to continue to be inconsistent this season - which is why we absolutely have to take advantage.

Tbf, I was writing my post while your one appeared. Just coincidence it seem to be in response to your post when it was AFC's I was replying to.

Players like Sterling and Toure I can see downing tools (Toure has done for the past couple of seasons really) but I can't see many others in that starting eleven that stand out as big time charlies, willing to throw in the towel. I expect City to be inconsistent too - but for the different reasons I explained last week.
