We reap what we sow. Finally they are trying to sign some talent but the damage of years proudly proclaiming we were happy to be losers is going to take some time to repair. So many times we could have signed just the one star player to dispel the mythtruth and also possibly hang on to existing talent. But they penny pinched their way to this legacy. Good news is the last shareholders did amazingly well and the current ones will stuff a lot of cash in their pockets too. So if you leave football out of the equation the club has been very successful.

If he was after a stepping stone, it'd probably be in his best interests on cutting time to stay at Real Madrid.

Yep, the damage has been done. It was bad enough going through years of us refusing to spend but what really hit the nail in the coffin was the ease of letting our star players leave.

Oh well...beggars can't be choosers, we have a sackful of cash and nobody to buy. What's more laughable is Wenger and Gazidis proclaiming we can afford Rooney and being in the hunt for him. Why on earth would he come here?!!

We don't win anything and don't look like winning anything. We routinely sell our best players, we don't pay our TOP players the market rate hence why they are sold most of the time. We lack ambition. Need I go on?

Rooney isn't going to leave a club that routinely wins trophies to come here? He still has a good few years left in him. If he really was put on the market, it wouldn't even be worth us going for him. Do you think he's going to choose us over Chelsea? Heck I don't think he'd even chose us over PSG.
